牛思莹，光学博士，陕西省国际科技合作基地“无源物联网”国际联合研究中心成员。近年来主要围绕物联网无源感知开展研究工作；（1）光学与光电感知，（2）新型感知材料设计；（3）人体健康大数据监测。在传感器顶会《ACM Conference on Embedded Networked Sensor Systems》，《Materials Chemistry Frontiers》、《Separation and Purification Technology》、《Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers》、等期刊会议上发表相关领域学术论文数篇。
