Yuan He, received her Bachelor's degree in 2006 from Northwest University (College of Life Sciences); received Ph.D. degree in 2011 from the University of York in the United Kingdom (supervisor: Prof. Gideon Davies, FRS); during 2011-2013, joined Prof. David Vocadlo (Simon Fraser University, Canada) and Prof. Jim Paulson (The Scripps Research Institute, US) for post-doctoral research; in 2013, joined the College of Chemistry and Materials Science of Northwest University as a Professor. She has won the Shaanxi Province Youth Hundred Talents Plan (2016) and hosted the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province. Her current research interest is focused on the study of enzyme (including nanozyme) thermokinetics, structure, and function, with an aim to unveil the reaction mechanism and provide control over enzyme catalysis, both for basic research and application purposes. The research results have been published in journals including Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., JACS, Nanoscale, etc.
