郭媛,西北大学教授、博士生导师;兼任西安市科协常务委员、法国奥尔良大学特邀研究员;本、硕、博毕业于西北大学;先后在第四军医大学、法国国家科研中心奥尔良ICOA研究所做博士后研究。主讲本科生《有机化学》、研究生《化学生物学》等课程;荣获西北大学第八届青年教师讲课比赛一等奖、西北大学化学与材料科学学院讲课比赛特等奖、陕西省微课程教学比赛三等奖;主讲的公益课程在《道来》栏目在线发布并获中国学位与研究生教育学会授予的公益荣誉表彰。
长期聚焦生物学衰老精准识别与干预开展化学生物学、生物化工等交叉领域科学研究;先后主持国家自然科学基金项目 6 项;以通讯作者在Nat. Aging、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Adv. Sci.、Chem. Sci.、Anal. Chem.等国际知名学术刊物上发表SCI论文六十余篇;获授权发明专利十余项;获陕西省杰出青年科学基金资助;获西安市三八红旗手、西安青年科技人才称号;作为主要完成人获陕西省科学技术一等奖、三等奖;担任Acta Materia Medica、Chinese Chemical Letters、《精细化工》等学术期刊编委。
Biography:
Dr. Yuan GUO is a professor and graduate supervisor at Northwest University, where she plays a key role in advancing research and education. She teaches foundational and advanced courses, including Organic Chemistry for undergraduate students and Chemical Biology for graduate students. She is an active member of the Standing Committee of the Xi'an Association for Science and Technology. Professor Guo completed her studies including PhD at Northwest University. She later conducted postdoctoral research at the Fourth Military Medical University in China and at the ICOA Institute of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). She also served as a special research fellow at the University of Orleans in France.
Her dedication to education has earned her multiple accolades, including: First Prize in the 8th Young Teachers Lecture Competition at Northwest University; Special Prize in the lecture competition at the School of Chemistry and Materials Science; Third Prize in the Shaanxi Micro-Course Teaching Competition.
Professor Guo's research focuses on the precise identification and intervention of biological aging, integrating insights from chemical biology and biochemical engineering. She has led six projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and published over 60 papers in high-impact journals, such as Nature Aging, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Advanced Science, Chemical Science, and Analytical Chemistry. She is also a prolific innovator, holding more than ten invention patents.
Professor Guo taught a public welfare course which was featured in the “Dao Lai” series and was awarded public welfare honors by the China Association for Degree and Graduate Education. She has received the Shaanxi Outstanding Youth Science Fund and was named Xi'an March 8th Red Flag Bearer as well as Xi'an Youth Science and Technology Talent. As a key contributor, she has received both first and third prizes in the Shaanxi Science and Technology Awards. Professor Guo is an editorial board member for several prestigious journals, including Acta Materia Medica, Chinese Chemical Letters, and Fine Chemicals, where she contributes to advancing research in her field.
