Dr. Yongqin Zhang, is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, New Star of Youth Science and Technology of Shaanxi Province, Outstanding Yougth Talent Supporting Program of Colleges and Universities in Shaanxi Province, deputy director of the Xi'an Key Laboratory of Intelligent Perception and Cultural Heritage, and Selected for Northwest University Excellent Youth Talents Support Plan. He has hosted 4 national projects, 6 provincial projects, and 6 other projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China, and National Social Science Fund of China, and six other vertical projects. He has authored or co-authored more than 70 papers published in journals or conferences such as IEEE TIP/TCYB, MedIA, and MICCAI, and also been granted 23 Chinese patents and 1 US patent. Research fields: machine learning, artificial intelligence, digital cultural heritage, and medical image analysis.
