Dr. Yongqin Zhang, is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, New Star of Youth Science and Technology of Shaanxi Province, Outstanding Yougth Talent Supporting Program of Colleges and Universities in Shaanxi Province, deputy director of the Xi'an Key Laboratory of Intelligent Perception and Cultural Heritage, and Selected for Northwest University Excellent Youth Talents Support Plan. He has hosted 4 national projects, 6 provincial projects, and 6 other projects, including National Natural Science Foundation of China, and National Social Science Fund of China, and six other vertical projects. He has authored or co-authored more than 70 papers published in journals or conferences such as IEEE TIP/TCYB, MedIA, and MICCAI, served as an editorial board member/associate editor of international journals such as npj Heritage Science, and also obtained 24 granted patents. Research fields: machine learning, artificial intelligence, digital cultural heritage, and medical image analysis.
