Total synthesis of natural products is a frontier field focusing on the precise synthesis of substances, which provides an important material basis for the in-depth mining of the biological activity and medicinal value of natural products. At the same time, total synthesis of natural products is also a strategic application of a wide variety of organic reactions and reagents, continuously promoting the innovation of organic reactions, reagents, strategies and theories, and promoting the rapid development of organic synthetic chemistry.

 Our research group conducts total synthesis research on a series of bioactive natural products, in order to promote the development and utilization of corresponding biological activities and medicinal properties. Meanwhile, we also focus on the discovery of new chemistry, including the development of new synthetic methods, new reactions, and new reagents.
