1998年本科毕业于南开大学物理系，2003年在南开大学现代光学研究所获得理学博士学位，2003-2015年先后在北京大学，美国The University of Texas at Austin，美国Southern Methodist University做博士后工作。主要从事理论化学（或分子物理）方面的理论计算研究，包括电子结构理论方法与计算程序开发，相对论量子化学计算方法，小分子电子光谱高精度理论模拟，等。参与国产量子化学程序包BDF的开发。
