  • Profile

    I am interested in poisonous plants in the grasslands in China. Particularly, I focus on how the host plant evolves with the endophyte and produces toxins in Oxytropis spp. I employ omics data to determine the evolutionary patterns of the host plant and endophyte, and to establish a link between plant phylogeny and the divergence of endophyte symbiosis. I am also interested in plant-soil-microbie interaction in Stellera chamaejesa during its expansion in grasslands.
