罗天任,工学博士,教授。博士毕业于中国科学院软件研究所计算机科学与技术专业,博士毕业后加入西北大学计算机学院任教授。在硕士和博士阶段,先后师从人机交互与虚拟现实领域知名学者潘志庚教授(二级教授、中国图象图形学会会士)和田丰研究员(二级研究员、中国科学院软件研究所副所长、国家级领军人才、CCF会士)。
长期从事人机交互与虚拟现实研究,面向人与VR、机器人等智能系统中的新型交互需求,致力于研究并解决人在交互过程中的感知、认知与行为局限性问题,关注人在沉浸式、具身化和协同化交互中的体验、安全、效率与能力边界,探索以人为中心的交互机制、设计方法、关键技术与赋能工具,发扬人机交互“理解人、服务人、增强人”的学科特色。尤其是,聚焦虚拟现实与遥操作人机协同系统中的关键瓶颈——重映射交互引发的感官冲突问题,在机理研究、测量评估、干预方法、系统研发与场景拓展等方面持续开展研究,初步形成了融合计算机科学、软件人因工程、神经感知、心理认知与交互设计的多学科交叉创新体系。研究成果连续多年发表于人机交互与虚拟现实领域CCF-A类顶级会议ACM CHI与ACM UIST、IEEE TVCG、IEEE VR、ACM IMWUT。
研究成果获得国内外同行广泛关注,被剑桥大学、卡耐基梅隆大学、普渡大学、东京大学、新加坡国立大学、香港科技大学、清华大学等国内外高校的知名研究团队引用,并被ACM中国、中国图象图形学会、中国教育电视台及中国科学院软件研究所等机构报道。作为第一作者提出的CCF专业术语“重映射交互”已成为领域共识性表述,并推动VR重映射感官冲突问题写入CCF人机交互专委会“中国人机交互十大关键科学问题”。获CCF人机交互专委会博士论文激励计划、ACM UIST 2024最佳论文提名奖(大陆机构第二次获此荣誉)、VRCAI最佳论文奖等8项最佳论文、提名奖及最佳海报论文等学术荣誉;长期担任ACM CHI、ACM UIST、IEEE VR、ISMAR、IJHCI、TPCI、VRIH等高水平会议和期刊审稿人,获ACM UIST 2025、ACM CHI 2026杰出审稿特别表彰。此外,曾主持浙江省新苗计划项目,并作为骨干参与多项科技部重大专项、国家重点研发计划和国家自然科学基金重点项目。
在学生阶段,曾获中国科学院院长优秀奖、中国科学院大学朱李月华优秀博士奖、国家奖学金、经亨颐校长奖学金、校十大学术新成果奖、马云青春领袖奖、北京市/省级优秀毕业生等十余项代表性荣誉;作为负责人获中国虚拟现实技术及应用创新大赛一等奖、山东省大学生软件设计大赛一等奖等十余项国家级、省级学科竞赛奖项。
